Up for sale is my beautiful 2006 Summit White Trailblazer SS.I have owned it since January 2009 when I purchased it from a close friend of mine. I had been wanting one ever since I first saw one at the Dallas Auto Show. I was blown away by having the utility of an SUV and then having the power from a Corvette. What an idea! I couldn't believe how the subtle differences in trim and wheels completely changed the feel of the truck. I have never like the looks of regular Trailblazers, but the SS models look terrific. I get stopped all the time with people asking me what it is or if it's stock. I am really going to miss this truck. It is fast. It can tow. It looks great. What more could someone want?

- Professionally installed sound system (details below)
The sound system was installed by Brad Granclair at Sound Station in Irving, TX. He is an incredible installer that has been installer of the year a few times. This didn't challenge him, but he did a terrific job. I wanted a sound system that was very clear and clean without having overwhelming bass. I didn't want the system to be noticable or anything that would look out of place. That is exactly what I got. It was tuned and sounds great.
- Pioneer Premier F90BT Head Unit (Pic)
- Eclipse 30 Channel EQ (Pic)
- Massive 800 watt 4 channel amp (Pic)
- Infinity Kappa 6.5" component speakers in the doors (Pic)
- Infinity 10" Reference Sub in custom box (Pic)
The head unit is great. It had navigation that works really well. It was just upgraded to V3 firmware and it made it much better. I had a few pet peeves that were fixed with the update. It also has integrated bluetooth. I get in the truck and my phone connects and all my calls go through the head unit. Really slick! The unit has DVD playback, but the real awesome thing is the ipod integration. It works better than any other head unit that I have tried. It plays videos and music from ipods. I keep a 160GB ipod in the glovebox with several movies and TV shows. Makes for a nice time killer. :)
Only modifiacation is that the resonator on the exhaust was removed. It makes it just a bit louder. Nothing obnoxious though. Here is a sound clip from inside the cabin.
