Vicki is 40 and oh so fine.

Vicki is turning 40 and wanted to capture how great she looked. Lucky for me she let me shoot it. She wanted a few of her at a boxing ring. She found a great place (Colossos Gym) and they were very nice to work with. They basically gave us the run of the place. I grabbed a few small strobes with small soft boxes and we got these.

After that, we went back to the studio to shoot with the Lincoln. Tried to get a few classier pics. Not sure if she wanted these, but I sure did.

We decided to play in the lobby a little too. Here's one I liked.

Oh my what a great model to work with. I can't wait to work with her on some more creative projects. Her attitude and level of professionalism is superb.

This was shot in the black studio with a shower head spraying water in the air behind Liz. We then added two gelled strobes to light the water. The cross lit her with two 6 foot soft boxes from the front. Simple light, but a really nice look.

And so do I. During a different photo shoot, we took a few minutes to have some fun with a few of the Bombshells. Cary brought her 1966 Pontiac Tempest for the shoot. We wanted to get some more moody shots that captured a time. I laid a 6 foot softbox on the windshield to give the feel that headlights from an oncoming car are lighting these lovely ladies. Essentially catching them in the moment. I am pretty pleased with the results.

Zack Arias would be proud. I'm a huge fan of his push for simplicity for location shoots and that's what we did in this one.

Shot this in the conference room at the studio with one huge soft box. That's it nice and simple. Can't ask for much more.

Stop Motion at it's finest

I found this on another site and was mesmorized. I have never seen transitions in stop motion quite like this. It gives the objects a liquid feel to them. No stupid music to ruin the mood. Just a beautiful video. Really cool stuff.

Dallis and Trains.

I have had the pleasure of shooting Dallis a few times this past week. She is a very talented model. With the help of MUA Jennica Crim, we have some very nice images. I wish they each had a site that I could link to, but I'll have to keep bugging them about that. I'd like to share a few of our images now with more to come. I hope you enjoy them.

These images were shot at the Dallas Railway Museum. They have a wonderful facility and the staff was very supportive of our shoot. We carried way too much equipment not knowing what to expect, but only used one light (Thanks Zack Arias) for every image that you will see.

I wish I had the foresight to take a setup shot for each image, but I never think that far ahead. Anyway, enjoy...

This was taken on the front of the largest Steam engine ever built.
